Lawn Maintenance

Business entities who engage in the business of lawn or garden care for hire within the city to remove from the city all accumulations of grass, tree or shrubbery cuttings and all other waste incident to their maintenance of lawns, shrubberies and trees on the same calendar day that said waste is created or accumulated. Failure to do so shall be deemed a violation of this section and shall be punishable as hereinafter provided in section 8.3-11. 

The HOMEOWNER IS ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS VIOLATION

City Code-Sec. 8.3-11. - Penalties. 

  1. Penalties to be assessed for violations of this chapter may be added on the violator's water bill for payment to the city or may be recorded as a lien against the property along with the administrative costs of preparation and recording of the lien. 

For the homeowner doing the own maintenance, putting the Vegetative Waste out before 12 noon on Sunday or the Bulk Trash before 5 is not only a violation of City Code for which the first time Offense can lead to a fine of $175.00

Structure Stains

Many residences are showing signs of IRRIGATION SYSTEM WATER STAINS on their homes that also detracts from the aesthetic look of their property.
