Biography
Personal Life
Keller Lanahan has been a resident of Atlantis since 1976. Having grown up in the City, she has seen it blossom from vacant lots to a thriving community with great families and long-standing community events. Keller enjoys living here with her husband Tom and their three daughters Elise, Molly, and Vivian. Living down the street from her parents Steve and Cathy Moore allows her children that close knit family connection that Atlantis fosters.
Education
Keller holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is a long-time educator, beginning her teaching career in 2000, and currently works as the Director of Early Childhood at Rosarian Academy in downtown West Palm Beach. At Rosarian, Keller develops curriculums, maintains budgets, manages a staff of 17, and oversees the education of 88 students. Keller is a member of the American Montessori Society and Delta Kappa Gamma (International Society for Key Women Educators).
Community Involvement
Keller recently served on the Atlantis Board of Adjustment. She and her family enjoy volunteering with the Palm Beach Fellowship of Christians and Jews, at Big Dog Ranch, and during countless Atlantis Community Events. Service to others is important to the Lanahan family, something Mrs. Lanahan learned from her parents, and looks forward to her service as a Councilwoman.
