Filing for City Council groups (seats) (1, 3, and 5 ) opens at Noon on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 and closes at Noon on Tuesday February 9, 2010. Seat 1 is currently held by Fred Furtado, Seat 3 is currently held by David Kintz and Seat 5 is currently held by Catherine Higgins.
Councilmembers are elected for a two year term. Qualifications to serve include being at least 21 years of age, a registered voter and a resident of Atlantis. Candidate packets will be available from the City Clerk, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm beginning January 10, 2010.
The municipal election is scheduled for Tuesday, March 9,2010
